I am very thankful that I was able to work remotely with Florence to improve my French language skills. When I began working Florence, I was probably a low to medium level ‘B’, and I was able to achieve my goal of a ‘C’ on the oral exam and was also able to improve to a ‘C’ on my SLE written exam.
Throughout my training I found Florence to be very supportive and patient, but also able to push me when I needed some motivation to better understand key concepts. She was always able to focus on strengthening areas of weakness and explain difficult concepts in a way that was easy to understand. I was able to success during my oral exam, but more importantly, I feel I’m now well positioned to speak in French at work and have a strong foundation to help maintain and build on the progress I have made. I found Florence to be an extremely valuable resource in preparing for Government SLE exams, but have no doubt that her teaching style would greatly benefit anyone looking to improve their French language skills.

I work for the federal public service and I was working toward getting my C in oral French. About two months before my test, I begun working with Florence via Skype. I found the Skype meetings very convenient as I didn’t have to spend time traveling to and from out meetings, I was able to do it all from home.
Florence was very friendly, patient, and reliable. She is a native French speaker and was well informed on what is expected for the public service language tests. She is a very good French language teacher. I saw a huge improvement in my French speaking from the time I begun my meetings with her, until the end.
All in all, I managed to get my C with her help, and so was very happy with this experience and would recommend her services.

Florence is an excellent teacher to prepare you for the Federal Government French Oral exam. When I started with her, I only had 2 weeks until my oral exam for which I needed a C to be considered for the job. Previous teachers had told me that my goal of attaining a C in that short of a timeframe was not possible, but Florence believed that if I worked hard, I could do it. And she was right! She was very strategic in preparing me for the exam and given my results, it is clear that she knows what she is doing. I highly recommend her!
